Tau Beta Pi was founded in 1885 to recognize outstanding students who display both distinguished scholarship and exemplary character. Today, there are more than 600,000 members who have been inducted into Tau Beta Pi. Only the top 1/8th of the junior class and the top 1/5th of the senior class are eligible for membership.

 

In addition to the mark of prestige that comes along with being a member of Tau Beta Pi, the organization offers many resources to aid its members in success such as scholarships and fellowships, workshops, networking and more.
